The Speed Triple is the bike that put Hinckley Triumph on the map twenty-two years ago and the new-for-2016 Speed Triple R is doing it all over again. Adopting a more aggressive stance in keeping with the meaner 1994 original, it boasts a 1050cc engine with 138bhp. But beyond the savage grunt, it offers steering that is alive and transparent, a composed ride thanks to top-spec Öhlins and a six-speed shifter that is a tactile joy. Compact, grunty and so much fun.
